      ALMATY. November 30. Press center – Erkin Zhumankulova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the University and Mariya Kabysheva, a specialist of the Department of Science and Postgraduate Education, trained at the University of Education and Science of Finland.

      The event was held under the program of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Nazarbayev University «Teacher training to strengthen the capacity of pedagogical education».

      This program was initiated by the World Bank's project «Strengthening the capacity of pedagogical education».

      The main goal of the project is to develop new national pedagogical education programs using best international practices.

      The new educational program will focus on pedagogical research, improving pedagogical practice, supporting inclusive education, establishing effective links between the university and the school.

      The seminar was held in two directions. In the theoretical direction, the participants got acquainted with the Finnish model of pedagogical education, working with pedagogical competence, the organization of research-based pedagogical practice, the development of special pedagogy and inclusive education programs. In the practical direction, Kazakhstani specialists visited the Viikki pedagogical school, the Nummy secondary school at the HAMK University and got acquainted with the activities of educational organizations. The participants of this training are currently working on the development of 30 best educational programs in the field of pedagogy in Kazakhstan.
