      ALMATY. June 10. Press center – Chairman of the Board – Rector of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University Gulmira Qanay met with the Rector of Suleyman Demirel University Kuanysh Yergaliev.

      During the meeting, the parties discussed educational issues, modern areas of teacher training, activation of student debates and strengthening the relationship between the two universities.

      – SDU strives to develop, creating a better educational environment for graduates who in the future will become excellent masters of their craft. Our values are based on nurturing and educating innovators, highly skilled professionals in their field, ready to improve humanity, the economy, and serve their nation. In this regard, we intend to exchange experience with your educational institution and jointly implement several projects, – said Kuanysh Yergaliyev.

      In turn, the rector of the Women's University Gulmira Qanay expressed her willingness to cooperate.

      Note that Suleyman Demirel University is one of the first private universities in Kazakhstan. It was founded in 1996 and was ceremonially opened with the support of the First President of the country Nursultan Nazarbayev. Currently, the university has four faculties: the Faculty of Pedagogical Sciences and Humanities, the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences and the School of Business. Education at the university is carried out in English, Kazakh and Russian languages.
