      ALMATY. March 30. Press center – The Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University held a meeting devoted to the updated content of education, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding teacher, public figure Rafika Nurtazina.

      The meeting, dedicated to the relationship between the school and the pedagogical university, was attended by university professors and teachers of educational institutions. They shared their memories of an innovative teacher who created her own signature.

      Rafika Nurtazina was really a teacher. Rafika Bekenovna devoted almost 60 years of her life to her favorite work, and the number of her students exceeds tens of thousands. Today they work in all corners of Kazakhstan and beyond, among them many famous people. Her teaching career is commendable, but the most important of them was the opening of the only Kazakh school #12 in the center of Almaty, where she taught Russian language and literature. In the early '70s, attending such an activity was a step up to a feat, the meeting participants noted.

      In addition, opinions were expressed about the role and image of the modern teacher. The problem of modern reforming the content of school education was also touched upon.

      - Preparation of competent specialists for modern school is one of the priority tasks of the educational programs of the university developed by the university. By increasing its contribution to the implementation of state compulsory standards in accordance with the updated content of secondary education and improving the professional level of graduates, the university solves the most important problems of formation and development of the personality of students, - said the participants of the meeting.

      Teachers of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools and educational institutions of Almaty city also made substantive presentations within the theme.

      Professor Dan Davidson, Honorary President of American Councils for International Education, praised the teaching activities and legacy of Rafika Nurtazina. And daughter of the great teacher, doctor of philological sciences, professor Elenora Suleimenova presented new scientific works published by Rafika Nurtazina at Women's University.

      Let's remind, Rafida Nurtazina was born on March 8, 1921 in the Pavlodar area. In 1949 she arrived in the Kazakh State Women's Teacher Training Institute at the philological faculty, in 1951 she graduated with honors

      From 1951 to 1971 she worked as a teacher of Russian language and literature, the head teacher and director of the Kazakh secondary school № 12 in Almaty.

      In 1973-1978 Rafika Bekenovna was elected the chairman of the presidium of the Republican council of Pedagogical Association of Kazakhstan and participated in development of the program of Russian language and literature teaching in the Kazakh schools.

      She is a candidate of pedagogical sciences. He is the author of more than 300 scientific and educational works, including 15 books and textbooks for secondary schools.

      R. Nurtazina is the leader of the national education system of Kazakhstan, an outstanding scientist, innovator-educator, public figure.

      Qualified teacher, talented scientist, holder of the titles "Honored Teacher of the Kazakh SSR", "Hero of Socialist Labor", "Honorary Citizen of Almaty". She was also awarded the orders of Lenin, the gold medal "Sickle and Hammer", twice the orders "Badge of Honor" and "Certificates of Merit" of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR, the Ministry of Education and the Russian Federation.
