![The book fund of University is more than 1 million]()
ALMATY. February 12. Press center – The fund of literature in the Scientific Library of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University is more than 1 million.
About 700 thousand publications have educational, teaching aids, over 192 thousand books of scientific direction. Fiction accounts for 142 thousand.
The university's book fund also includes about 54 thousand dictionaries, reference books and encyclopedias. Out of the total volume of literature, 936 512 – in Kazakh, 120 939 – in Russian and 10 327 – in foreign languages.
The book fund is replenished by orders received from departments, through the system of public procurement and through donated books by authors and textbooks published by the university publishing house.
