22 scientists of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University became the owners of the Bolashak scholarship. Already in February next year, they will go on an internship abroad to improve their skills in the best research centres and universities in the world within the framework of the "500 Scientists" project.

Of the 22 scholars, 12 will be trained in England, four in the USA, three in Turkey and three in Poland.

The fellows will conduct high-quality research at universities ranked in the top 250 in the international academic rankings QS World University Rankings, Academic Rankings of World Universities (Shanghai Ranking), Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

The duration of the research internship will vary from 3 to 12 months, providing scientists with the opportunity to deep dive into cutting-edge areas of science and technology. This important step will be a key moment in their scientific careers, bringing new knowledge and perspectives that they will be able to contribute to the scientific community in Kazakhstan.

It should be noted that this initiative fits into the extensive efforts of the Government of Kazakhstan to support the scientific community. In 2020, President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to provide annual internships to 500 scientists at leading research centres around the world, highlighting the importance of international scientific cooperation for achieving outstanding results in science and education.
