      The Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University was visited by the great actor, the coryphaeus of Kazakhstan's creative community and the holder of the highest state awards – Asanali Ashimov. The famous artist arrived specially to participate in the presentation of the collection of works by writer Kemel Tokayev, the founder of the Kazakh detective genre, translated into Turkish in honour of the 100th anniversary of the writer with the support of the International Organisation TURKSOY. The book was published in Ankara.

                                                                                  

      The collection includes novels and short stories by Kemel Tokayev, such as "Sargabanda bolgan okiga", "Taudagy zhangyryk", "Tunde atylgan ok" and "Kastandyk", which are true masterpieces of the detective genre. The arrival of Asanali Ashimov was a special event emphasising the importance of cultural exchange and strengthening ties between the Kazakh and Turkish communities.

                                                                                 

      The highly honoured guest was warmly welcomed by the Rector of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, Gulmira Qanay. She expressed deep gratitude and respect on behalf of the staff, presenting him with a national chapan as a token of appreciation.

                                                                                  

      In his address to the audience Asanali Ashimov emphasised the importance of the development of science, education and culture. "According to the greats, a state without culture and literature is no state," said the actor, whose attention has always been focused on supporting and promoting art and culture in Kazakhstan.

      It should be noted that Asanali Ashimov played the main role in the film "Ataman's End", based on the work of Kemel Tokayev. Ashimov is the winner of many prestigious awards, including the title of "Hero of Labour of Kazakhstan", People's Artist of the Kazakh SSR and USSR, winner of the State Prize of the USSR and KazSSR, as well as the independent award "Tarlan" and orders "Otan" and "Kurmet". His presence at the event was a highlight, emphasising the importance of cultural exchange and Kazakhstan's contribution to world literature.
