      Rector of Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, Gulmira Qanay, expressed warm words of congratulations to candidate of philological sciences, associate professor and chairman of the local professional union of university employees, Lyazzat Adilbekova, with a wonderful and significant event - her 60th birthday.

      Congratulations on the 60th anniversary of Lyazzat Adilbekova also received from various organisations and educational institutions. The Central Office of the Trade Union of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan expressed sincere wishes for health and success in further labour endeavours. Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating expressed recognition for outstanding contribution to education and academic sphere. Also congratulations on the anniversary came from respected colleagues of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University.

                                                                                         

      This festive day was a vivid confirmation of respect and appreciation of the vast professional community to Lyazzat Adilbekova for her labour contribution and dedication to the principles of higher education.

      Lyazzat Adilbekova is a 1986 graduate of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, where she was also a Lenin Scholar. In 1991, she successfully completed her postgraduate studies, and in 1999, she received her PhD in Philological Sciences from the Academic Council of Philological Sciences of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

      Lyazzat Adilbekova started her labour activity as a deputy chairman of the Student Union of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Since 1991, she has devoted her life to teaching, consistently advancing from the position of teacher to the current position of associate professor and acting professor of the Kazakh Literature Department of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University.

                                                          

      From 2003 to 2008, Lyazzat Adilbekova successfully fulfilled the duties of Vice-Rector for Educational Work at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, and from 2008 to 2010 she held the position of Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations at the University of Foreign Languages and Business Career. From 2010 to 2012, Lyazzat Adilbekova successfully fulfilled the duties of press secretary to the Rector of Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University.

                                                                                  

      Lyazzat Adilbekova is actively involved in scientific research in the field of education, regularly publishing her articles and materials on literary studies and youth education issues in international scientific journals, periodicals and at conferences of various levels, as well as on television and radio broadcasts.

                                                        

      In 2004, Lyazzat Adilbekova was awarded the Y. Altynsarin sign for her great contribution to the education of young people. She was repeatedly awarded letters of thanks from the President of Kazakhstan, the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Mayor of Almaty and other organisations for her significant contribution to the development of education.

                                                                                   

      Lyazzat Adilbekova is the author of more than 300 scientific works, which made a significant contribution to the development of philology and education in Kazakhstan. Her works have received national and international recognition.
