      ALMATY. MAY 24. PRESS CENTER - The Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University hosted a meeting to explain the nationwide referendum on amendments to the Constitution by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

      Deputies of the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhussip Nurtore and Nuketayeva Dinar took part in the explanatory meeting and spoke on the theme "Global issues of the political process" with the staff and students of the university.

      The meeting was opened by Gulmira Qanay, the Chair of the University Managing Board, who gave the floor to Nurtore Zhussip.

      – "The upcoming referendum is a major change that will open the way to the future prosperity of our people, the establishment of the rule of law, to the prosperous life of the Kazakh people," said Nurtore Zhussip.

      He also said that some programs aimed at improving the well-being of young people have been proposed. Focusing on improving the status of teachers, he stressed that the voice of future teachers should be heard in a good step for the future of the country, and called for a unanimous vote in the referendum.

      – Our young people are very demanding and creative, they have many ideas, opinions, and discoveries, so we have high hopes for them. The young people's contribution to the realization of the idea of creating a new Kazakhstan is significant. Both the President and the people believe in it, - said Dinar Nuketayeva.
