      QyzPU - prize-winner of the inter-university subject Olympiad

      ALMATY. 16 MAY. PRESS-CENTER - QyzPU is the winner of the XIV Republican Subject Olympiad which is traditionally held in the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism on the subject "Theory and Methods of Physical Culture" on the educational program 6B01401 "Training of teachers of physical culture".

      The Olympiad, organized by the university-winner of the last Olympiad, consisted of three stages: Scientific Project, "Ziyatker" tour, and "Kozgalis kuzirettiligi" tour.

      The main objectives of the Olympiad are the encouragement of educational and scientific activities of students, disclosure of the professional potential of students, their self-knowledge, creativity, and practical skills in the field of physical culture and sport, and selection and support of the most talented and gifted students.

      10 universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the subject Olympiad: Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Makhambet Utemisov West-Kazakhstan University, Academician E.A. Buketov Karaganda University, West Kazakhstan Innovative Technological University, International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, Pavlodar Pedagogical University, Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism, L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University, Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, International Taraz Innovative Institute.

      Each team consisted of 3 students from the Kazakh group and 3 students from the Russian group. Students under the guidance of Master of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Lecturer Niyazakinov Erdos, and Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Doskaraev Bauyrzhan conducted preparatory work. In the team competition "Pavlodar Pedagogical University" was awarded the diploma of I degree, "International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi" was awarded the diploma of II degree, "Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University" was awarded the diploma of III degrees.
