Do the graduates of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University meet the requirements of the time? What is the level of readiness of young professionals for modern education? In order to find answers to these and other questions, a meeting was held with the participation of university teachers and education workers of the country.

The event, initiated by the Department of Physics, was organized on the online platform TEDx.

The participants exchanged views on the question of how the graduates of pedagogical universities will meet the needs of educational institutions in the conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

"Today, the world is entering the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, a period of profound and rapid changes in technological, economic and social spheres. This strengthens the requirements for knowledge and competence of workers and young professionals. New technological processes are radically changing the existing methods of work, worldview, how we raise our children and the training of specialists in various fields," - said Nazira Sandybayeva, moderator of the meeting, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences.

According to her, Industry 4.0 is a digital technology that allows you to monitor physical processes in real time, make independent decisions and control the interaction of modern machines between people.

The meeting also discussed the importance of training future professionals in the framework of the program "Spiritual Revival", preserving national identity, integrating national education and sensible learning. Gaukhar Baitasheva, an employee of the Spiritual Revival Project Office of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, and Gulnaz Salgaraeva, Dean of the High School of Physics, Mathematics and Digital Technologies, spoke about it.

Education workers from Turkestan, Mangistau and Almaty oblasts spoke about the importance of education through modern new technologies.

"The Address of the President Nursultan Nazarbayev to the people of Kazakhstan" New opportunities for development in the conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution "called for reconsideration of ways to train and improve the skills of teachers. For this purpose, special attention was paid to the need to develop pedagogical departments and faculties in the universities of the country and to improve the quality of teaching mathematics and science at all levels of education. It is true that a number of measures have been taken to implement this, which is an important condition for preparing young people for the new technological environment. The main task of future education is to integrate technological progress and human capital so that educational organizations, especially schools, can meet the requirements of the time. We believe that this task will be fully fulfilled if special attention is paid to the training of quality specialists, if attention is paid to improving the knowledge and skills of future educators of the nation," - said the participants of the meeting.

During the event, the work on development of robotics in schools of Yenbekshikazakh district of Almaty region was announced. In turn, the heads of educational organizations in the region intend to exchange experiences with the training laboratory of robotics at the University of Geneva. In the near future, students and teachers of educational institutions within the framework of professional orientation will provide methodological assistance to schoolchildren in the region to master digital technologies and robotics.
